Event description

Are you looking for ways to keep your kids entertained these school holidays? At BOP Industries, we run School Holiday Camps that will keep your kids busy as they learn to create and innovate at the Brisbane Business Hub in Brisbane CBD!

Term 1 School Holidays - Business Builders Camp
Monday 12th April - 9:00am - 3:00pm

Have you ever had an idea for a business? Did you ever think you might be able to actually bring this idea to life?

Our Business Builders school holiday program has been designed to show young people how they can build their own business over the course of the school holidays.

As part of our Business Builders program, we will be working with students to help them follow their interests and grow their ideas into a tangible product or service, giving them a way to bring their ideas to life, whilst also creating a small business at the same time.

Throughout the program, students will first look at some of their favourite brands to learn about how these businesses make money and how they built their brands, before then using their newfound knowledge to build their own business around a topic that they are passionate about.

In our Business Builders program, students learn what it takes to design, create, and build their own business. Our young people work with an expert team of facilitators and will be challenged to prototype their own product or service. They will take the time to understand the business basics before then building their business strategy, ready to launch!

Term 3 School Holidays - Designed Spaces Camp
Monday 20th + Tuesday 21st September - 9:00am - 3:00pm
How can we ensure that the Designed Spaces for our schools, workplaces, and communities can accommodate these advancements?

Our cities, communities, and spaces continue to develop and change to keep up to date with or increasingly diverse and demanding needs and as future leaders we need to understand the how our spaces function and understand how different members of our communities use our spaces in different ways.

Our 'Designed Spaces' program has been designed to get students thinking about the spaces they use to live, work and play on a daily basis, and to think about how they can redesign these spaces to keep up with society's ever changing needs.

With strong links to mathematics, technology, business and humanities, these program is a great way to engage students in cross curricular project based learning to build their skills whilst encouraging them to be more conscious citizens.

Term 4 School Holidays - Christmas Creators Camp
Monday 13th + Tuesday 14th December - 9:00am - 3:00pm

Join us this summer holidays for the Christmas Creators program where you will be designing and creating your own Christmas decorations and gifts with a range of fun activities and challenges.

With the holidays just around the corner, we’re all busy decorating our houses, shopping for gifts, and getting into the Christmas spirit. But, have you ever thought about designing and creating your own gifts, decorations, and tools for the holiday season?

In our Christmas Creator school holiday program, students will be spending two days designing, creating, and decorating their own Christmas gifts, decorations, and other tools for the holidays.
