Born to Speak, Blocked to Speak
Description
Professional development for Creative Arts Therapists
Explore what holds you back from speaking up and learn a few practical techniques for speaking up with more ease and authenticity.
Do you comfortably hold space for other people's stories — but find it much harder to put your own voice forward?
Perhaps you'd like to present, teach, facilitate workshops or become more visible professionally, but nerves, perfectionism, imposter feelings or old messages about who gets to speak get in the way.
In this experiential AATISN workshop, psychotherapist and counsellor Amber Chapman will explore the blocks that can prevent us from speaking up and being seen.
Through creative processes, reflection and paired sharing, you'll give your own “voice” and “block” a visual form and explore small, practical ways to speak with greater ease and authenticity.
