**Boro Stitching is a simple technique originally used by the Japanese to repair and mend fabrics. A simple ‘sashiko’ or running stitch is used to patch worn out areas on garments.

Today it is often used, not only to patch holes on worn garments, but also as a decorative feature. This technique is very calming and meditative as well as very rewarding.
