María Ángeles is a spirited 79-year-old Spaniard who has spent her life in Tangier’s Spanish quarter. Her world is upended when her daughter returns from Madrid determined to sell the family apartment. To defend her home and the memories it holds, María rises to the challenge and, unexpectedly, rediscovers love and sensuality.

A delightful, bittersweet, and deeply human drama that delivers its heartfelt journey with humour and charm.

Winner of the Audience Award at the 2025 Venice Film Festival.
