Women’s Health Week - Bike confidence course - City of Boroondara
Description
Refresh the skills you need to feel confident using your bike for local trips on shared paths and quieter local roads in this sociable and friendly session with other women.
Summary
This course is for women and non-binary people who know how to ride (even if you're a bit wobbly) but don't feel confident using their bike to get around, or would like to expand the local trips they are doing.
Join our friendly instructors in a traffic-free setting where we will practice the skills that will build your confidence on wheels. Once we're all ready we will do a short ride on some quiet local roads where we get to put everything into practice on a short low traffic ride before heading back for refreshments.
Light refreshments will give us the chance to discuss route planning, finding other people to ride with and answer all of your questions before a gentle ride back to our starting point.
This course is commissioned by the City of Boroondara and delivered by the professionals from Bike it Better.
Fee: $25.20 full, or $13 concession
