Botanical Art Workshop with Tegan
Event description
A morning of playful and expressive mark making techniques for drawing and painting all things botanical. You’ll learn how to create unique artworks using and array of dry mediums as well as paint. Tegan will teach you how look closely at nature and capture the ephemeral beauty of botanicals found in the stunning City Farm gardens.
You'll get to play with materials including charcoal, chalk pastels, oil pastels, pencils, gouche paints, watercolour paints and inks. Leave with some beautiful artworks, even if you are a newby to this kind of thing.
Meet Tegan

Our weekly farmer's market will be in full swing during your workshop, so it's worth arriving a little early to check out the stalls and maybe buy some fresh produce.
Perth City Farm is a community urban farm that supports connected, sustainable communities. Established on a former industrial site in East Perth, this polluted site has been lovingly rehabilitated by volunteers to become a Western Australian icon for environmental sustainability and community engagement. We provide space and opportunities to build community connections, and educate and enable people to live sustainably.
