Sun, 7 Dec, 10am - 1pm ACDT

Event description

Activate your senses in an immersive workshop centered on botanical balms and oils.

Learn how to craft gentle botanical salves and oil infusions from flora gathered from the surrounding Adelaide Botanic Garden.

Emma, our resident therapeutic horticulturalist and qualified aromatherapist, will informatively and safely guide you through the process of how to prepare plants and self-administer a soothing hand massage from the finished product.

Participants will get to take home their handcrafted gifts of a botanical oil and salve.

Light morning refreshments will be provided.

There is an outdoor component of this workshop so please dress accordingly to the conditions on the day.

Please note, as we are working with raw botanicals this workshop is not suitable for people who are in their first trimester of pregnancy. Please inform us when booking if you have any allergies.

Nature Based Wellbeing at the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium are unforgettable experiences for the soul and senses, and will equip you with life-long skills to nourish your wellbeing and relationship with nature.
