Botanical illustrations with Tabatha

Drawing directly from native foliage collected around Prospect, this workshop will offer students an introduction to the timeless beauty of botanical drawing. 

Begin by drawing simple plant forms, you will then learn how to create botanical compositions and build detailed depth with either pencil or ink pen. 

Local artist Tabatha will guide the class through some basic drawing techniques and allow you to learn at your own pace. 

This introductory workshop is for beginners or those wanting to get back into a creative practice. 

Starting with plant-based drawing is a beautiful and simple way to connect with nature!
