Botanical You: Nature Stencilling and Portraits with artist Zoe Awen

Ages: 7 – 12 years

Explore the beauty of the natural world and everyday objects through the eyes of an artist! Create your own still life scenes to sketch including natural items collected from the surrounding environment and unique objects from the Gallery. Using a variety of materials including pastels, Posca paint markers, coloured pencils, and fine liners, experiment with different styles and techniques to bring your drawings to life.

Have fun while learning how to “see like an artist” — training your eyes to notice shapes, shadows, and details — and transform what you observe into playful artworks to display at home!
