Event description

Ages: 7 – 12 years

Guided by Zoe, learn how to observe the world around you and experiment with painting techniques to capture the shapes, colours, and textures of nature. Drawing inspiration from the current gallery exhibition, explore how artists use perspective, tone, and composition to bring their work to life.

A fun and creative workshop exploring the beauty of nature and everyday objects through painting and mixed media. Using botanical items collected from the local area and interesting everyday items, create your own unique still life scene.

Using watercolours, pencils, charcoal, pastels, and more, build new artistic skills while being encouraged to express your own unique style.
