Botany Blitz

Join us and immerse yourself in a botany workshop! 

We will take you on a guided walk of Rickabys Creek Reserve with special guest Bush Regenerator Robynne Warne, where participants will learn how to identify the native plants, weeds, as well as how to manage a bushland area. 

Need help identifying plants? Bring along samples and we can help! 

Hawkesbury-Nepean Landcare will also available to answer questions and offer support to landholders who have bushland on their property! 

Grab your free goody bag which will have a variety of plant identification tip, tricks and tools.

This will be followed by a yummy morning tea.

Refreshments and all equipment provided.  

What can I expect?

• You'll be provided with everything you need. 
• No experience is required!
• Yummy refreshments, tea and coffee.

What do I need to wear and bring?

• Wear long pants and a long-sleeved shirt, sturdy closed-in shoes, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
• Bring a bottle of water.

The event is open to everyone. Children must be supervised by an adult. Spots are limited.
