Bowen Health Connections aims to provide community with information and connection to the health services and options available to them in their community. This event is an in person event, with stall holders and activity stations, and a program of six Guest Speakers. If you are not able to make the event, or wish to connect online, we will be streaming the Aging to End-of life: support for a meaningful journey sessions.

This stream will be available both online and face to face covering:

Exploring the legal and emotional journey of terminal illness 11am-11:45am
Hypnosis and pain management 12:00-12:45pm
Palliative care - circles of care 12:45-1:30pm

Online sessions will be held via Microsoft Teams. Links will be sent 1 day prior- if you have any concerns using Teams please contact lauren@gwcommunities.org.au for support.

Other sessions in person only:

Raising Resilient Kids: Health, Happiness, and Connection: This stream will include healthy lunchbox talk and demonstration, Mums and Bubs Yoga, and strategies for coping and navigating care for grandchildren
Stronger Minds, Healthier Bodies: This stream will cover topics that are targeted at emerging and mid-life adults featuring mental health myth busters, substance misuse and how to support loved ones and disease prevention.
