Bowral Autumn Music Festival 2023
Event description
The 2023 Bowral Autumn Music Festival will be the seventeenth. In 2023 we will build on the success of the Education Days introduced in 2020, we will continue to include Australian compositions and commission and we will present some of the rich heritage from the past.
Our next festival will celebrate the joy of playing chamber music, considered by many as the pinnacle of music making! You will hear some of our country’s crème de la crème performers – violinist Francesca Hiew, cellist Richard Narroway, flautist Sally Walker, trumpeter David Elton, trombonist Scott Kinmont, and pianists Vatche Jambazian, Vivian Choi Milton and Laurence Matheson.
We will also welcome the Luminescence Chamber Singers, organist David Reccia Chynoweth, and the Highlands Music Collective with soloist Cedar-Rose Newman. Our important Musica Floreat Concert and Education Day Workshops will again provide an opportunity for young musicians to showcase their talents and there will be exciting premieres of new works by Australian composers Sally Greenaway, Andrew Ford, Elena Kats-Chernin plus much more...
We accept all concession passes, seniors cards, student cards and companion cards.
