Bowral Autumn Music Festival 2024
Event description
The 2024 Bowral Autumn Music Festival will be the 18th year of the Festival.
In the tapestry of its history, this festival has woven a vibrant narrative, showcasing the brilliance of Australian composers and spanning the eclectic realms of baroque to contemporary. This year’s lineup promises an unforgettable experience, featuring the timeless melodies of Gershwin, the avant-garde compositions of Kurtag, the atmospheric works of Ross Edwards, the enduring classics of Beethoven and Bach, and the innovative creations of young talents, Holly Harrison and Andrew Howes.
Join us at the breathtaking St. Jude’s Church for an immersive experience that goes beyond the stage. Observe talented local students engaging in educational workshops with Australia’s leading musicians, dive into pre-concert talks with our featured composers, and become part of the festival’s rich history. The heart of this festival beats with the rhythm of community, as we bring together the residents of the Southern Highlands region and beyond. Over four enchanting days in the embrace of Autumn, expect to be swept away by the artistry of some of Australia’s most exciting musicians.
We accept all concession passes, seniors cards, student cards and companion cards.
