In 2026, we celebrate the 5th Edition of Box Fest, and I cannot wait to mark the occasion with friends and community members from near and far.

For my 43rd birthday, we are taking over Beacon Cinema in the heart of Columbia City on November 7th at 1 PM for an afternoon built around mystery, community, and the magic of movies. We will screen one of my favorite films — the title stays secret until showtime, but there is a hint hidden in the event graphic. Tickets are $12, and proceeds will support The Film Foundation, an incredible organization dedicated to protecting and preserving film history.

And this being the 5th Edition, we have a few surprises you will not want to miss!
