Event description
Come one, come all Sheilas and Lads. It's about to get Bogan in Boyanup. Mullets, flannos, stubbies, thongs and ugg boots are not only welcome but encouraged.
What are you in for… Half game show. Half party. That’s how it’s described. Bingo, rockin’ songs from the 80’s and ’90s, jokes, tributes, a competitive auction, and a spontaneous air guitar competition. You’ll soon see why we wanted to bring Bogan Bingo to Boyanup.
All you need is a little sense of humour, the ability to laugh at yourself, and the desire to celebrate that little bit of Bogan in us all.
Prizes will be given to the best dress sheila and bloke, air guitar champion, and Bingo Masters.
Do you have to be a Bogan to enjoy the night?
No. There are many meanings today as to what it means to be a bogan. But one thing we have in common is that we all were at one stage of our lives. So, whether you are the bogan that doesn’t have to dress up for once, or you are the bogan who is reliving their glory days, this will be a night to remember.
While the next generation of bogans is looking particularly boganny, this night is for the bogans aged 18 and over to show off their stereotypical Aussie ways.
