Does a weekend of ritual, celebration, heart-sharing, and nourishing food call to your soul?

A heartfelt invitation from the Braided Women of Aotearoa New Zealand is extended to women everywhere.

Beautiful in our diversity of age, stage, culture, creed, and life experience, we come together to celebrate, connect, and remember the power of women's community.

Join us for our Eleventh Braided Women Gathering.

Come and step into a sacred space where your voice matters, your wisdom is honoured, and your inner truth is your guiding star.

Our Gatherings Include
• A beautiful venue nestled within native forest in the Canterbury foothills
• Sharing circles and sacred rituals
• Warm gathering spaces, bunkroom accommodation, and camping areas for tents and campervans
• Opportunities for music, dance, creativity, play, and connection
• Space and time to remember and reclaim the power of women's togetherness
• Nourishing vegetarian and vegan lunches and dinners
• A safe, respectful environment free from drugs and alcohol

Our Intention
That each woman leaves feeling deeply connected to the wellspring of the rising Sacred Feminine, embracing her sovereign self and the wisdom she carries within.

Refund policy

We understand that sometimes life takes unexpected turns and plans need to change. If you are unable to attend the Gathering, the following conditions apply: • A minimum non-refundable administration fee of 25% applies to all cancellations received after 31 October 2026. • Cancellations received after 31 October 2026 are not eligible for a refund. • Exceptions may be considered where the Gathering has reached capacity, a waitlist is in place, and we are able to fill your spot. In these circumstances, a refund may be offered minus the 25% administration fee. • We may also consider exceptions in cases of illness or serious unforeseen life circumstances. • Your registration is transferable to another woman by your own arrangement. Please notify us of any transfer details. • You may choose to transfer your registration fee toward the next Braided Women Gathering, less the 25% non-refundable administration fee. Above all, we would much rather have you join us for this special weekend of connection, celebration, and sisterhood.

Braided Women Gathering Trust is a circle of women, a weaving of stories, and a remembering of ancient ways. We gather in sacred space to honour the cycles of the earth and the seasons of a woman’s life — maiden, mother, crone — each thread valued, each voice welcomed.

Through ritual, ceremony, and shared presence, we create a place where women can return to themselves, to each other, and to the deep well of wisdom carried in our bones. We honour our ancestors, celebrate our journeys, and hold space for transformation, healing, and connection.

In the spirit of the braid, we believe that when women come together with intention, authenticity, and care, something powerful is created — a living tapestry of support, strength, and belonging.

The Creation Group is made up of 7 women, Dawn Maley, Ja Cinda Moore-Keats, Lisa Scott, Maryanne O'Rielly, Rochelle Montagne, Sonia Milne, and Tania Hendriks.
