Get ready for an electrifying night of music as Brain Electric and HRBRT join forces to deliver an unforgettable experience!

Brain Electric are a group of 6 music lovers based out of South East Queensland, Australia. Headed up by Gold Coast producer and musician Matty Gray, the crew have recently come together to create their first EP, anticipated for release in early 2024. With influences from Funk to House, Jazz to Hiphop, it’s a little hard to put these guys into a box. The sound will surly continue to evolve, but as it stands you can expect to dance, you can expect to think and you can expect to stank face.

Joining them are HRBRT, the renowned experimental funk-fusion / doof-jazz / neo-soul group from Meanjin/Brisbane. Since their formation in 2013 and the release of their acclaimed 2019 EP 'Melopoeia', HRBRT has been shaking up the local music scene with their high-energy performances and innovative musical style. The band has played to enthusiastic audiences at notable venues across Brisbane and at several regional music festivals and has become a staple in the local music scene. Their music is characterised by groovy bass lines, complex yet danceable rhythms and soulful melodies, combined with improvisational elements that make each performance unique.
