The Sydney Startup Hub in partnership with Vitae has launched The Brain Power Series 2.0. This is a series of weekly online neuroscience workshops available to all NSW-based startups, scaleups, freelancers and small businesses. These sessions will run weekly over a 4-week period and are complimentary.

Week Three: Neuroscience of Connection and Collaboration

Connection isn’t a nice to have. It’s a neurological need. It’s a precondition to a healthy and high-performing mind. Connection drives collaboration, creating motivated, profitable, and innovative workplaces. But how does this relationship between connection and collaboration work on a neurological level? And what can we do on the individual level to help improve connection, collaboration, and thereby performance at work?

Vitae.Coach’s Neuroscience of Connection and Collaboration session, presented by Shelley Laslett offers some of these answers. Sharing the neurological and psychological mechanisms of connection and collaboration, this session will provide a number of practical neurohacks and tools (quick brain hacks) you can use to increase collaboration and boost productivity.

During this session you’ll learn about:

neurohacks to effectively collaborate
what erodes connection, teamwork, and productivity
neurohacks for uniting divided/conflicted teams

By the end of this 45 min session, you’ll have a number of neurotools and hack to build a connected, collaborative and productive organisation.
