Brain-Watkins House Garden Party

The Tauranga Historical Society invites you to join a celebration of Tauranga's heritage at the 44th Brain-Watkins House Garden Party.
Bring a 'fistful of fivers', don your vintage finery, and help invoke the vibrant and hospitable spirit of the original Brain family who started building their home in I88I, and lived in it through the generations until 1979.
Tickets include entry into the Open House, and the best-dressed costumes (with fantastic prizes!), as well as Devonshire tea, live music, and free activities for children. There will also be a vintage café, generous raffles, local authors, artists, sculptures in the Heritage Garden, and food, crafts, and other storeholders (candlemakers, mosaics, vintage jewellery, crafters, artists and more).
Proceeds from the Garden Party go towards the upkeep of this historic kauri villa.
