We are proud to present The Pirate Ship Foundation's BrainChild Ball - Jijivisha – Hope for Life, on Friday 16th September 2022 in the Grand Ballroom at Crown Perth with thanks once again to Spadaccini Homes.

Untranslatable to English, Jijivisha (pronounced gee-gee-vee-shaa) is a Hindi word that represents feelings of optimism or hope for life. It represents a strong eternal desire to live and continue living.

Jijivisha encapsulates what The BrainChild Ball is about. It recognises the bravery and resilience of the children impacted by brain cancer. It recognises our hope for a long life for children impacted, and for a quality of life they would not have otherwise had.

We can achieve the above through improving treatments for childhood brain cancer by funding world class research – supported by people like you.

In its six years to date, The BrainChild Ball has raised a net total of over $2.1 million to further the vision of The Pirate Ship Foundation - happy healthy children free of brain cancer. Across the Foundation, around 90% of all funds raised are directed to research, ensuring the maximum impact from your generosity.

Tables of 10 are available for $3,300 and include a mouth-watering three course meal, premium beverages and stand-out entertainment.

The theme of hope will underpin our event this year – and we look forward to sharing another exciting and impactful evening with you!

Physical tickets will not be issued for this event. Guest names will be checked at the door. Please provide all guest names for your table before Friday 2nd September 2022
Dietary requirements will be accommodated to the best of our ability if received prior to Friday 2nd September 2022

Important Information – COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements

In accordance with recent Western Australian Government provisions, proof of COVID-19 vaccination for people aged 16 years and over will be required for all guests visiting Crown Perth

COVID-19 Cancellation Policy

If a lockdown directive issued by the Western Australian Government means the event cannot go ahead, the event will be postponed until a later date and all table purchases will be transferred to this date
Should your entire table not be available on this new date, The Pirate Ship Foundation can transfer the table purchase (exclusive of transaction processing fees) to a donation and issue a tax-deductible receipt for the equivalent amount, or offer a refund for the purchase amount (exclusive of transaction processing fees)
