Bread roll bakeries ride
Event description
We love devouring freshly baked goodies, and reckon if you're reading this, chances are you do too. Support a few local bakeries, and rediscover the joy of social cycling on machines that fight climate change and loneliness.

We'll start at the Under bakery in Mawson, which always has a line for its goodies including cardamon buns and huge focaccias.
Then we'll roll to Evoke in Curtin, whose croissants placed second at the 2025 National Artisan Baking Competition. Niugini Arabica next door has excellent coffee, and they roast their own beans.
Then, we'll head along the bike path which graces the southern shorelines of Lake Burley Griffin before crossing Commonwealth Ave Bridge, along Marcus Clarke St, and finishing at the Corner Store Market in City West for fresh hot cinnamon donuts. There will be coffee, and there will be a few gluten-free options (mostly sour dough).
Most of the route is on separated bike path. There are hills at Deakin and Yarralumla.
Join us for all bakeries three, or just stay for one - you are always welcome on our rides.
Feel free to start in Mawson, or meet us along the route. BYO cycle, or rent them from Cycle Canberra.
