Bread Waste Pasta Workshop | Kitchen Alchemy
Event description
The Moving Feast Kitchen at Queen Victoria Market as part of the Purpose Precinct has been innovating ways of diverting waste products into new foods.Â
Bread is one of Australia's largest food waste - we all throw out our stale or mouldy bread. This Workshop will show you another way to use up your old bread and provide you with a healthy pasta meal.
The 50min workshop will show you how to make and roll bread waste pasta, how to cook it and also make a delicious sauce to eat and enjoy in the workshop. You will also get a portion to take home a portion of your handmade pasta and a jar of caponata - another Moving Feast Kitchen circular product made from diverted Eggplants.
