Some cycles need to be broken. Others need to begin.

The way we think. The way we respond. The way we communicate. The habits we repeat. The relationships we build. The choices we make.

Sometimes we find ourselves repeating cycles we never consciously chose — patterns shaped by family, culture, environment, experiences, friendships, habits and the world around us.

But just because something has always been a certain way doesn’t mean it has to stay that way.

Our Centre, in collaboration with MATW, presents BREAK THE CYCLE — a powerful and interactive six-hour community experience featuring Sheikh Bilal Assad, joining us from Melbourne, alongside Sheikh Safdar Parkar.

This isn’t simply another series of lectures.

It’s an opportunity to pause, reflect, have real conversations and ask some important questions:

What patterns are shaping my life?
What am I carrying that I need to let go of?
What am I unintentionally passing on to others?
What needs to change?
And what positive cycles can begin with me?

Through Qur’anic guidance, Prophetic wisdom, real-life situations, interactive discussions and practical strategies, we’ll explore how we can recognise unhealthy cycles, take responsibility for what is within our control, and consciously build something better.

Because breaking a cycle isn’t only about what you stop.

It’s also about what you start.

MORE THAN A SEMINAR — AN EXPERIENCE

From 12 PM to 6 PM, BREAK THE CYCLE has been designed as an afternoon to experience and enjoy — with powerful sessions alongside generous breaks to eat, grab a coffee, explore the marketplace and connect with the community.

The breaks are part of the experience.

Come with your family and friends, grab lunch, enjoy a coffee, browse the stalls, meet others from the community and then return refreshed for the next session.

WHO IS IT FOR?

Youth. Young adults. Parents. Couples. Families. The wider community.

Whether you’re reflecting on your own habits and choices, trying to change patterns that keep repeating, thinking about what you’re passing on to the next generation, or simply striving to become better — BREAK THE CYCLE is a conversation worth being part of.

Some cycles need to be broken.

Others need to begin.
