    Event description

Are you a Chief Financial Officer or decision-maker looking to meet the XRB’s Climate-Related Disclosures? Join us for breakfast before you start your day.

There will be a keynote address from Minister of Climate Change, Hon James Shaw, and XRB and Toitū technical experts will take you through the requirements, how they impact your business and how we can support.

The event will also be streamed for those who cannot make it personally, or do not live in the Auckland area.

The new legislation requires going beyond regular financial auditing and more than ever climate change is on the NZ political, investors and consumer agenda. The reality is that not taking climate action means a decreased likelihood of being able to successfully operate in a low-carbon economy.

We’ve been carbon auditing for 21 years and our programmes are at the leading edge of climate action. Ensure governance oversight of climate and greenwashing reputational risks, find new opportunities for your business, and integrate changes into your day to day, reflected in your annual or sustainability reports.

Questions to consider for your business:

    • How do you know your sustainability strategy goes beyond the standards in your sector?
    • How resilient is your organisation to face climate change?
    • Is your organisation ready to embrace the opportunities the future holds?
    • Are you ready to support your organisation in becoming compliant to the new CRD regime?

We look forward to discussing how we can support you – over breakfast.

If you aren't a CFO/decision maker or are unable to join us in Auckland, please register for our live stream event here. The livestream will cover the talks and run from 7:20-8:45am.

With thanks to Sustainable Business Council for partnering with us for this event.
