Event description

Join Pedal Power as we have breakfast with independent Senator David Pocock. In his first term as Senator, David Pocock has helped put active travel on the local agenda, particularly through his campaign for the federal and ACT Governments to sign a city deal. Such a deal would result in a significant investment in sustainable infrastructure for our Territory.

At this breakfast we will talk with Senator Pocock about why the Senator has made active travel part of his priorities, what challenges we are facing in increasing active travel uptake, and what role he believes the federal government can play in promoting active travel in Canberra and beyond.
