Event description
Come and celebrate National Bird Week and explore one of Melbourne's best birdwatching sites. You'll be a part of a guided walk with an expert bird-watcher, who will take you along a tried and tested birdwatching route and point out the different species along the way at these beautiful wetlands.
There a many other animals that also call this place home and that you may come across if you are lucky, including the resident mob of kangaroos, swamp wallabies, echidnas and wombats.
Enjoy a delicious breakfast of pastries, fruit and coffee afterwards at nearby Janefield Community Centre, and talk all things birds and wildlife with fellow enthusiasts.

Accessibility
The guided tour will take approximately 2 hours to complete and the walking tracks are unsealed and on some slope in sections.
