In this guided breathwork session, you will learn the “conscious-connected” breathwork technique, along with a series of breath holds, to help you access altered states of consciousness, within a safe, intentional and supportive space.

By accessing theta brainwave states through conscious connected breathing, and so silencing the chatter of the analytical mind, you will be tapping in to the innate wisdom of your body; your unconscious, innate intelligence responsible for the millions of automatic processes happening within you right now that keep you alive, every second of every day!  

Once in this state, it’s not uncommon to experience physical sensations and releasing of trapped emotions associated with old traumas, stored away in the tissues of the body. This can be a powerful accelerator of inner healing and personal transformation in your life. 

Or you may just experience a blissful time of restorative relaxation for your fatigued nervous system!

Everything about your unique experience is welcome within the safety of this container.  

Breathwork can also give us increased gratitude, peace, clarity and perspective on what is happening in our lives. 

No two sessions are the same because you are never the same person from session to session! Add in to this the power of going through such a process collectively in a group of like-hearted people, and you've got all the ingredients for a potentially transformative practice. 

The session will be guided and carefully supported by two trained facilitators, Sam & Dan, who will be there with you through every step of the process, ensuring a safe, supported and positive experience. 

Your guides: 

As Breathing Cold certified breathwork, ice bath and authentic relating facilitator, Sam is passionate about guiding others into the exploration and liberation of the deeper parts of themselves and empowering people to live from the innate purpose and passion of their hearts. With a lifelong love of sports performance and being a qualified personal trainer, Sam is also a huge believer in empowerment and deep personal growth through conscious movement. 

Dan completed his training as a Yoga Teacher and in Sound Healing Therapy on the edge of Kathmandu in Nepal. He is excited to share the gift of sound and hold space for those wishing to explore their inner world. 

The session will last approximately 2 hours

Please bring:

  • 🧘 Your favourite yoga matt if you have one
  • 🥰 Your favourite blanket for warmth & comfort
  • 💧 Water
  • 😌 Dress comfy and warm but able to move freely, like for a yoga class
  • 👀 An eyemask if you have one to assist you in going as internal as possible 

Safety Information:

Whilst breathwork is a very safe activity to complete, you should never perform any kind of breathwork (especially breath holds) whilst driving a moving vehicle, whilst in water, or whilst standing up as it is possible to lose consciousness due to changes in body chemistry (this is safe and your body will automatically kick in and make you breath whilst momentarily unconscious). The only occasions of accidents arising from breathwork were under these higher risk conditions.

Once you have registered for the session, you’ll receive an invitation via email to complete a pre-session screening health questionnaire and liability release/waiver (approx 10 mins required). Please complete this as honestly as possible for your own safety and to ensure you have the best Breathwork experience possible!
