BreakThrough Workshop and Affected Others Forum

This BreakThrough workshop and Affected Others Forum is a free event which brings together family members, carers, supporters and community members who are affected by someone else's alcohol, other drug, gambling or mental health challenges.

BreakThrough will run a 2 hour, in-person workshop on the day, topics covered include:

• Understanding the impact of addiction and mental health challenges on families, carers and supporters

• Services and supports available for affected others in the Bendigo region

• Strategies for self-care, wellbeing and resilience

• Navigating support systems and community services

• Opportunities for questions, discussion and networking with local providers

The Affected Others Forum will include presentations and information from:

• Anglicare

• Bendigo Health

• Mind Australia

• Mental Health and Wellbeing Connect Centre

Whether you are supporting a loved one or working within the community sector, this event aims to provide practical information, connection and pathways to support.
