Description

Even the best ideas often require a little push forward to get started. HB Studio's Breakthrough Lab provides the impetus needed to take a project from the hypothetical into completion. HB teaching artist Snezhana Chernova helps her students realize a multitude of creative concepts, including screenplays, play, podcast, livestreams, monologues or scenes, TV pilots, scores and feature films. At this free culminating showcase, Chernova's spring class will present their work in its current state of process to a live audience for the first time.

Founded by immigrant actor/director Herbert Berghof in 1945, HB is one of the original New York acting studios. We are a nonprofit organization that supports vigorous, lifelong practice in the theatre arts, based on a solid foundation of practical training.
