Breast Friends - An Alternate Weave Workshop Jan 14th

A celebration of the female form, friendship and creative expression!

In this playful and expressive weaving workshop, we'll create our own joyous, dancing ladies using Coccus Palm and Raffia. Exploring an alternate weaving technique, we'll experiment with natural fibres, texture, shape and movement to bring these spirited little figures to life.

Inspired by the beauty, diversity and character of the female form, each creation will have its own personality – no two ladies alike! Expect a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, plenty of creative exploration and a little laughter along the way.

Suitable for curious beginners and experienced makers alike, this is an opportunity to play with materials, learn new weaving techniques and celebrate the wonderfully individual forms we can create by hand.

Its an honour to hold this workshop at the beautiful Second Sand Studio at Mulumba (Point Lookout). Come along, make some Breast Friends and let your creativity dance!
