At Breath & Besties, our goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can connect with yourself and others through breathwork, movement, and meditation. While these practices are beneficial for many, it’s important to acknowledge the following:
Consultation with Healthcare Provider.
Should you have any medical conditions (including, but not limited to, heart or respiratory conditions, anxiety, PTSD, epilepsy, or if you are pregnant) we recommend consulting your healthcare provider before participating in any breath work or physical activities.
Voluntary Participation. Participation in the breathwork, movement, and meditation practices is entirely voluntary. If at any point during the session you feel lightheaded, dizzy, uncomfortable, or overwhelmed, please stop and inform the facilitator. You may take a break or rest in a comfortable position as needed.
Emotional Awareness. Breathwork and movement can release stored emotions and provide deep healing. We encourage you to approach the practices with an open heart and a willingness to connect with yourself. If you experience emotional discomfort, please know that support is available, and you are free to step out of the session at any time. Your facilitator is trauma informed and will be there to guide you every step of the way.
Personal Responsibility. By attending Breath & Besties, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own well-being and safety during the event. The facilitator and event organizers are not liable for any physical, emotional, or mental effects during or after the session.
Respecting Your Limits. While the practices are designed to be accessible, please listen to your body and engage at your own pace. If you are new to breathwork or movement, or have any concerns, please feel free to reach out to the facilitator before the event for guidance.
Emergency Contact. If you have any medical conditions, specific needs, or concerns, please inform the facilitator before the session begins.
