THE BREATH GATEWAY: A JOURNEY INTO BREATH, BODY & CONSCIOUSNESS

What if your body knows more about your life than your mind does?

We can know intellectually what we need to do in life and still find ourselves caught in the same emotional patterns, relationships, fears or behaviours.

This is where the body becomes the doorway.

In this immersive Breathwork workshop with Inspired Breath, you will be invited to step out of your thinking mind and into a deeper experience of yourself through bioenergetics and Conscious Connected Breathwork.

Rather than simply talking about your life, you will have the opportunity to experience yourself from the inside.

You may discover that your body has been carrying patterns, emotions and impulses that you have learned to ignore, suppress or simply never had the opportunity to fully experience.

FROM THINKING ABOUT YOUR LIFE TO EXPERIENCING IT

The body is constantly communicating with us.

Tension in the jaw. A tight chest. A clenched stomach. Restricted breathing. Restlessness. Fatigue. A sense of shutting down. The impulse to move, cry, shout, laugh or simply withdraw.

These responses can be part of the way we have adapted to life. Bioenergetics gives us a way of becoming more conscious of these patterns through movement, breath, posture, grounding and physical expression. Instead of overriding sensations, we become curious about them. This shift can open a very different way of understanding ourselves.

CONSCIOUS CONNECTED BREATHWORK

From this foundation in the body, we move into Conscious Connected Breathwork.

Using a continuous, connected breathing pattern, you will be guided into a deeper and more expanded state of awareness.

As the usual activity of the thinking mind begins to soften, you may experience emotions, memories, sensations, images, insights or aspects of yourself that are not normally accessible through ordinary conscious awareness.

For some people this can be deeply emotional.

For others it can be physical, energetic, symbolic or profoundly peaceful.

And sometimes the experience can move beyond the familiar boundaries of everyday consciousness.

ENTERING THE TRANSPERSONAL

One of the most fascinating possibilities of deep Breathwork is the experience of what is often described as the transpersonal realm—experiences that seem to extend beyond our ordinary sense of self and our everyday identity.

You may experience a profound sense of connection.

You may encounter powerful imagery or symbolic experiences.

You may experience a different perspective on an event in your life.

You may feel connected to something larger than your individual story.

You may have insights or a realisation about a relationship.

An understanding of a recurring pattern.

A new perspective on an old experience.

A sense of what you actually want.

A recognition of what has been holding you back.

Or perhaps a renewed feeling of connection with yourself and with life.

I look forward to meeting on Saturday 5th September.
