Join me as we journey through a balancing & calming pranayama breath practice.

I will guide you through a series of breathwork patterns through the nose, exploring and generating space in the belly & chest, mobilizing the diaphragm and creating expansion and elongation of the breath cycle.

We will cultivate energy with the progression of the breath patterns, cleansing the mind, body and nervous system. 

You will end in a meditation where the practice comes alive. 

You will leave feeling different to when you came and your experience will be exactly what you needed in that moment.

What happens in the body when we influence the breath in this way?

The upward and downward movement of the diaphragm as you breath in and out stimulates the vagus nerve, this tells the brain to release our feel good hormones, accessing feelings of safety, peace, calm, reducing stress and inflammation in the body.

As oxygen levels increase in the blood, it’s carried to the cells and organs, where it takes part in a chemical reaction called energy, this energy floods the body and influences the nervous system, balancing the sympathetic and parasympathetic branches, enhancing blood flow and removing toxins in the body.

What to bring?

  • Water bottle
  • Comfortable clothes - nothing restrictive of the belly area
  • Eye mask (optional)
  • Matts, bolsters, blankets will be provided
  • Avoid caffeine/alcohol prior to event if possible.
  • Arrive on an emptier stomach. 
This is for the beginner and the experienced breather.
