Breath of Freedom
Event description
I'll be back at @mountain_pilates this October to run Breath of Freedom - a Biodynamic Breathwork and Trauma Release workshop with an intergrative sound journey!
This is a powerful modality that uses the breath as well as movement, bodywork and sound!
The Benefits of Biodynamic Breathwork & Trauma Release
This method isn’t about forcing change or chasing catharsis — it’s about creating the right conditions for the body to unwind, express, and integrate. Some of the shifts people often experience include:
Releasing deep tension: The breath, combined with movement and sound, helps dissolve long-held patterns of contraction and protection in the body.
Nervous system regulation: Sessions support the transition from high-alert states into a more balanced and calm rhythm — allowing the body to rest, restore, and feel safe again.
Greater body awareness: As numbness fades, you begin to feel more — not just discomfort, but also pleasure, presence, and vitality.
Emotional clarity: Unprocessed emotions like anger, sadness, and fear can finally surface and move through in a way that feels held and non-judgmental.
Authentic expression: The process supports you to move, sound, and express in ways that are natural to you — often revealing parts of yourself that have been hidden or held back.
Freer, fuller breath: Over time, your breath becomes more open and connected, which can have a powerful impact on your energy, mood, and overall health.
Feeling grounded and at home in your body: As the layers peel back, there’s a quiet kind of aliveness that emerges — a sense of being more present, real, and resourced.
