Description

There is a kind of rest that goes deeper than simply stopping.

By the end of the week, many of us are still carrying unfinished thoughts, responsibilities, emotional tension and the constant pressure to keep going.

Breath of Sound is an invitation to put that down for a while.

This immersive Friday evening experience combines intentional breathing, meditation, live therapeutic sound and silence to create the conditions for deep physical and emotional rest.

Sound is vibration, and we experience it through much more than our ears. Throughout the session, layers of sound and resonance are felt through the body, while slow breathing and intentional pauses help you settle into the experience.

Gradually, the body can begin to soften.

The breath finds more space.

The mind no longer needs to work quite so hard.

And for a while, you are not carrying everything in the same way.

Breath of Sound is not simply about having a relaxing Friday night.

It is about experiencing what becomes possible when you give yourself enough space to pause, restore and return to yourself.

No previous experience with meditation, breathwork or sound is needed.

A Space Designed for Deep Rest

The room is intentionally prepared to support your comfort throughout the experience.

The room includes wall and ceiling heaters to maintain a warm temperature, along with soft mats, bolsters and cork blocks so you can settle into a position that feels supportive for your body.

Nothing to perform. Nothing to get right. Your only job is to receive the experience.

The Sound Journey

Throughout the evening, I work with a wide range of acoustic instruments to create different layers of vibration, texture, rhythm and space:

Crystal Singing Bowls
Long, sustained tones that create spacious layers of resonance.

Tibetan Singing Bowls
Rich metallic harmonics and grounding vibrations.

Native Flute
Simple, spacious melodies that bring another quality of listening into the room.

Nylon String Guitar
Warm acoustic tones woven naturally into the soundscape.

Chimes and Tingsha
Delicate high-frequency sounds used to create contrast, transition and moments of focused listening.

Shamanic Drum
Deep rhythmic sound that adds grounding and physical resonance to the journey.

Organic Rattles and Percussion
Earthy textures and rhythms that bring movement and variation into the experience.

And equally important:

Silence.

The spaces between sounds are part of the practice.

They allow you to notice what remains when the vibration fades and give the experience time to settle.

Guided by Vitor Ramos

I have worked professionally in the wellbeing field since 2003 and am certified in Sound Healing and Sound Therapy in Australia and Brazil.

My background also includes more than two decades of work with Yoga, meditation, Ayurveda, music and inner development.

Breath of Sound brings these years of experience together in one simple intention:

to create a safe space where you can slow down enough to listen again.

For me, sound is not the destination.

It is a tool.

A way of creating the conditions for rest, awareness and reconnection.

What to Bring

To make yourself as comfortable as possible, please bring:

  • Your favourite blanket and pillow

  • An eye covering or eye pillow — highly recommended

  • A water bottle

Optional:

  • A journal

  • Any personal item that helps you feel settled and comfortable

On the day of the event, I recommend avoiding alcohol and strong stimulants and having a lighter meal before the session if possible.

The Evening

5:45 PM — Doors Open

Arrive, settle in and create your comfortable space.

6:00 PM — Arrival & Opening Practice

We begin with a short guided practice using breath and awareness to help transition out of the pace of the day and into the experience.

6:15 PM — Live Sound Journey

Approximately 60 minutes of live sound, vibration, breath, stillness and silence.

There is nothing you need to follow or accomplish.

You simply allow the experience to unfold.

7:30 PM — Closing & Integration

We take time to land gradually before returning to the evening.

There will also be space to share your experience if you wish.

Your Comfort and Safety

Creating a safe and supportive environment is an important part of Breath of Sound.

For this particular experience, I ask that you contact me before booking if you are pregnant, use hearing aids or monitoring devices, or have a health condition that may be affected by strong sound or vibration.

This session is not suitable for people with epilepsy, those who have undergone a DBS procedure, people undergoing active cancer treatment, or those living with an advanced or terminal illness.

If you have had a fever or are feeling unwell within 24 hours of the session, please join us on another date instead.

Different positions and additional support can also be arranged if lying on the floor is uncomfortable for you.

If you are unsure whether the experience is suitable for you, please get in touch before booking.

More Than Relaxation

Sometimes we believe we need to solve everything before we can feel better.

But sometimes what we need first is enough space to stop carrying everything at once.

Breath of Sound offers that space.

A chance to experience your body differently.

To notice your internal world without immediately needing to change it.

To remember what deeper rest can feel like.

And then to return to your life with a little more room inside.

Pause. Restore. Return.

Warmly,
Vitor Ramos
