Breath, Song & Being July
Event description
A transformative 3-Hour Breathwork & Sound Journey
This immersion is your invitation to regulate, release, and return to yourself. Through guided circular breathwork and a deeply resonant live soundscape, you’ll explore your inner landscape, quiet your mind, and expand your capacity for ease, expression, and embodied presence.
For the first time in Christchurch, we bring you a unique collaborative journey featuring Traeh Song (certified Clarity Breathwork practitioner, Kirtan Leader Institute trainee, and lead facilitator of The Intimacy Initiative) alongside three incredible live sound journeyers: Lena Rae on singing bowls, Felix Harrison on didgeridoo, and Bruce Scanlon on gongs.
You may have heard whispers of the profound transformation experienced by over 60 participants at Relish Festival this past fall – this dream team of sound and breath is now offering their magic to the wider Christchurch community. This space is designed to be both beginner-friendly and deeply transformational.
⸻
What to Expect:
Hour 1: Grounding and Intention Setting. We'll ease into the space, set our intentions, and introduce circular breathing techniques.
Hour 2: Guided Breathwork with Live Sound. Immerse yourself in a powerful circular connected breathwork journey, exquisitely supported by a live, multi-layered soundscape.
Hour 3: Integration, Kirtan and Closing Circle. Deep rest in Savasana, followed by guided Kirtan singing/chanting and finishing with a connective closing circle.
You’ll be supported by a curated soundscape and live music throughout the journey. Breathwork often opens the door to a wide range of somatic experiences—emotional release, deep rest, bliss, clarity, or a feeling of gentle reset. There’s no “right way” to journey—only your way. Come with curiosity, and let your body guide you.
