In the heart of the forest, surrounded by birdsong and the pulse of live instruments, you will be guided through one of the most profound experiences available to a human being by only using your own breath.

Altered states of conciousness breathwork, cold immersion, live music and community are not four separate things here. They are one unified field, each amplifying the others, designed to dissolve what no longer serves you and awaken what has always been true.

🌬️ The Breath. A Revolutionary Act

In a world that conditions us to suppress, to perform and to disconnect, learning to consciously control your breath is a radical reclaiming of self. Breathwork is the golden key to deeper states of min: ancient in origin, woven into yogic, shamanic and contemplative traditions across every culture.

When you breathe consciously, you bypass the rational mind and open a direct channel to the subconscious. Old patterns, suppressed emotions and limiting beliefs rise to the surface and, with the right guidance, they release. What remains is clarity, presence and an expanded sense of who you are.

What are altered states of consciousness?

The continuous, connected breathing technique used in this practice shifts the ratio of oxygen and carbon dioxide in your blood. This triggers a cascade of neurological changes, moving brainwave activity from the everyday beta rhythms of waking life into the deeper theta and delta frequencies associated with profound inner experience.

This is an altered state of consciousness: a temporary, naturally induced shift in ordinary awareness. No substances. No shortcuts. Just your breath.

In this state you may experience:

Heightened inner perception: sensations, emotions and inner imagery become vivid and amplified. The inner world feels as real as the outer.
Emotional release: the analytical mind softens, allowing deeply held emotions, memories and patterns to surface, be witnessed and dissolve.
Expanded awareness: a sense of unity, timelessness or deep connection, similar to advanced meditation or peak flow states, that emerges naturally and safely.
Integration: the sharing circle and somatic practices afterward help you ground, process and carry your insights into daily life.

You are safe throughout the entire process. Ana is a certified master breathwork facilitator trained to hold space for non-ordinary states. You will never be pushed beyond what feels right for you.

🧊 The Ice. Challenge, Clarity, Aliveness

This is a guided (and optional) part of the experience. After the breathwork journey, you will meet the ice. Bamboo ice baths placed in the middle of the bush offer a striking contrast and a portal of their own.

Cold immersion enhances circulation, activates the immune system, triggers the release of endorphins and stimulates brown adipose tissue to support metabolism. It also has a powerful capacity to reduce systemic inflammation.

Beyond the physiology, the cold teaches something the mind alone cannot: that you are far more capable than you think. Facing it with your community beside you is its own kind of ceremony.

🎵 The Music. Medicine for the Soul

Pablo Laverde is a multi-talented artist with a rare gift for improvisation. Throughout the breathwork journey, he plays live: guitar, flute, percussion and didgeridoo, following the breath, the room and the invisible field between all of you.

The music does not accompany your experience. It is your experience.

In altered states, music bypasses the usual filters of the mind and speaks directly to the body and soul. Rhythms become anchors. Melodies become guides. Silence becomes its own instrument. You will feel it in your chest before you hear it with your ears.

Across every culture and epoch, humans have healed in circles. The witnessed experience is not the same as the private one: something opens when we allow ourselves to be seen in our process, and something heals when we witness another in theirs.

Connection activity — a grounding opening that brings the group into coherence before the journey begins.
Guided breathwork session — a full journey into altered states, held by Ana and accompanied live by Pablo.
Cold immersion in bamboo ice baths — electric, humbling and deeply alive-making.
Integrative somatic experience — body-based practices to anchor and ground what has moved through you.
Optional creek swim — a magical natural plunge in a nearby creek. Highly recommended.
Integration circle and sharing — reflection, connection, questions. Stay as long as you like. This is where the lasting bonds form.

Master Breathwork Instructor Ana holds a rare gift for creating safe, deeply healing spaces. Her guidance through altered states is grounded, intuitive and profoundly transformational. She has supported hundreds of people through life-changing journeys — her presence alone is a medicine.

Pablo Laverne

Multi-instrumentalist & Improviser Guitar, flute, percussion, didgeridoo — Pablo is a living soundtrack, improvising in real time with the breath and the room. His music does not follow a setlist; it follows you.

Breathwork and cold immersion create significant physiological and psychological changes. Out of care for your wellbeing, please do not attend if any of the following apply to you. If in doubt, consult your healthcare provider before booking.

Severe Cardiovascular disease or heart conditions
History of seizures or epilepsy
Severe asthma or respiratory conditions (COPD)
Pregnancy
Psychosis, schizophrenia or active psychiatric episode
Recent surgery or serious injury
Severe osteoporosis or high fracture risk
Detached retina or glaucoma
Active PTSD or severe anxiety disorder (without therapist clearance). Please inform your host if this is the case
Medications sensitive to blood oxygen or CO₂ changes
Raynaud's syndrome (relevant to the cold immersion component)
