Breathe Better, Live Better: Fundamentals of Breathwork Workshop (Sundays)
Description
We breathe on average about 25,000 times a day and, most of the time, we do this without much thought.
But did you know that consciously changing the way you breathe can change your life?
You can reduce stress and anxiety, increase your energy levels and endurance, and improve your posture, mood, motivation, sleep, healing and overall health.
Western medical science is only now catching up on what ancient cultures have known for many 1000s of years – your breath can be your superpower!
At this in-person workshop you will:
Learn about the science of breathing and different types of breathwork
Assess how well you are breathing and find out where there's room to expand
Learn and practise a set of simple exercises to strengthen your breathing, calm you down in times of stress, and give you a boost when your energy is low
Receive a handout for revision with a list of resources.
This workshop is limited to up to 12 people, so you'll get plenty of support and opportunities to ask questions.
Functional breathwork is suitable for everyone, although there are some exercises that are unsuitable for pregnant women and those with serious health conditions – alternatives will be provided, and you are encouraged to go at your own pace and stop if you feel discomfort.
Please ensure you read the Terms and Conditions below before you book.
