Despacho Medicine Bundle Ceremony- 

The Despacho is an Ancient Andean celebration ceremony and a reminder of the connections we share with the universe - sacred spaces, elements and with spirit.

A Despacho contains symbols of everything: elements, weather, clouds around mountains, rainbows, the four directions, lakes, rivers, fruits of our labours, earth, stars. These offerings create a beautiful mandala that will represent the energy of the entire group.

The Despacho is considered a message and an offering into the spirit realm created in sacred reciprocity or AYNI.

The concept of Ayni is described as the essence of balance in our lives and a mutual dependency between humans, nature and spiritual forces or as the relationship between our world and the sacred worlds. During this ceremony each person will have the opportunity to place their intentions into the offering being created. Please bring a small piece of nature (flower, leaves) that resonates with you as an offering of ayni to aid in creating beauty, power and energy in the form of a physical mandala representing everyone’s prayers for the new year. The Despacho will then be offered to Pachamama via a fire or water ceremony.

Post Ceremony Grounding - For those that wish to stay, we will also enjoy some time post ceremony together on the beach, grounding and connecting with the calm waters of Toowoon Bay. 

Please note that Breathwork is a deeply transformative process and your safety is our highest priority, therefore there are some contraindications which would not allow for your participation in the Breathwork portion of the event.

Currently taking heavy medication that alters brain chemistry (anti-depressant, anti-anxiety, antipsychotic)

Detached Retina

Recent physical injuries, fractures and/or surgeries

Epilepsy

History or diagnosis of aneurysms

Cardiovascular problems

History of seizures

Severe Asthma

Heart disease

Heart conditions

Diabetes

Hospitalisation for any psychiatric condition, emotional crisis, spiritual emergence within the past 3 years

Any other medical, psychiatric or physical conditions that would impair or affect your ability to engage in activities involving intense physical and/or emotional release.
