Breathwork is a form of somatic psycho-therapy, which just means that it's a body-based way of getting to know ourselves better. It is a gateway, into deep cellular memory and full body understanding.

We welcome all parts of ourselves and learn how to get curious about the different shades of who we are. The act of showing up for yourself and being in a space that welcomes ALL of you, to be seen and heard, is deeply healing.

Join Mailys for a Breathwork journey to go inward, release stagnant beliefs and ways of being, and reconnect with what makes you feel alive.

What is Rebirthing Breathwork?

Rebirthing Breathwork is a type of conscious connected energy breathing that is a gateway for accessing the subconscious, so we can gain insights and understanding that we may not have access to in our everyday lives.

Through this dynamic, yet gentle breathing, the brain-state can shift from the usual beta state and drop into states of alpha and theta where the subconscious can be accessed and deep healing becomes possible.

The modality I offer also combines the use of the chakra- attuned music, body and energy work and use of a circular, connected breath, in a safe container to invoke an altered state of consciousness.

  • release suppressed emotions and energy blockages within the body

Each journey is unique and different, bringing a wide ray of emotions, physical sensations, memories and images.

But many leave the experience feeling clearer, lighter, more like themselves and more connected to the natural environment, natural cycles and oneness of life.

Is it for me?

Rebirthing Breathwork is a powerful tool for anyone who is committed to their healing and growth suitable for beginners and no prior experience is required. 

Contra-indications: Early pregnancy (under 12 weeks). Breathwork is also not recommended for people with a history of aneurisms, cardiovascular problems, high blood pressure, osteoporosis, or any recent surgeries


  • Please bring your yoga mat and any cushion/ blankets so you can be very comfortable
  • Wear comfortable clothing (incl. layers as the body temperature can shift a lot)
  • Come with an empty stomach / or just a light meal 90 min before
  • Bring a blindfold or something to cover your eyes (optional)

The journey will be followed by a short process to assist with the integration of the experience.

Mailys qualified as a Rebirthing Breathwork facilitator through the Breath Mastery program. She is also a Wellness retreat facilitator, yoga teacher (Vinyasa, Yin), meditation teacher, spiritual life coach, NLP practitioner and energetic healer.

Mailys is passionate about creating safe and sacred spaces to support healing and spiritual growth and enhance connectedness back to one’s true essence.

She brings a sense of safety, warmth and nourishment to her offerings and uses her attuned intuition to offer targeted body and energy healing to support each person's journey.
