The Breathing Matters - Functional Class will focus on Functional Breathing Patterns and re-education.
The goal of the Functional class is to identify dysfunctional breathing habits and develop Functional Breathing Habits to improve:
- Sleep Quality & Obstructive sleep Apnoea
- Symptoms of snoring
- Achieve a state of calm, stillness, and mental clarity
- Improve oxygen delivery, absorption and uptake
- Develop the biomechanics of breathing to better effect your stress response and emotional regulation
- Tap into the Parasympathetic Nervous System through slow breath
- Develop diaphragmatic activation through deep breath
- Develop chemosensitivity and breathlessness from light breath
- Improvement in Asthmatic symptoms
- Decongestion of the nasal cavity
The class is suitable for beginners and also intermediate students
