    Event description

Join Shannon Rose and her team of Practitioners for this 3 hour healing breathwork workshop.

In our journey of life, we pick up mamae (pain) and store it in our body, mind and spirit. When we hold onto this mamae in the form of fear, grief, regret, resent, anger and more, we inhibit ourselves from experiencing a full life. Most of all we inhibit our connections with people around us, our whanau and the world. We hold in our true mauri potential.

Breathwork is a safe modality & practice that enables you to slowly start opening up some of that mamae to release and integrate. In Te Ao Maori, we embrace the darkness, because within the darkness holds our greatest taonga (gifts). With the breath we safety  enter into the realms of Te Po (darkness and subconscious), to return to Te Ao (the world of light and living) with new perceptive.

In this workshop you will experience a technique called the BreathWav, conscious connected breath through the mouth that doesn’t force or push for a release but trusts in the body and spirit’s innate intelligence to heal itself.

We bring karakia into the space, as well as energy and body work that supports to bridge the gap between physical and spiritual realms.

You may expect to have an emotional release, a rush of insight, physical healing or a spiritual experience, yet each person will be different.
