Brendan Foster Quartet: Conceptions

Conceptions is the second installment of Brendan's ongoing original music project. Conceptions follows on from last year's show, Lineage, which paid homage through original composition to some of Jazz' greatest composers. Conceptions consists of both new takes on past compositions, and fresh compositions conceived with new intent.

Brendan Foster is an Australian vibraphonist and composer, who writes and performs within the Jazz sphere. Having recently supported Australia's own Katie Noonan, Brendan is in demand for his cultivated and characteristic approach to improvisation, and his sound offers a unique perspective and complements the many artists with whom he shares the stage.
