Winning the Golden Guitar for Traditional Country Album of the Year at the 2026 CMAA Golden Guitar Awards, Start All Over Again is Brendan Radford’s latest album release.

Consisting of 11 new songs, all written, recorded and produced by Brendan, Start All Over Again features some of Australia’s most celebrated musicians and received a total of seven nominations, including Traditional Country Album of the Year, Bush Ballad of the Year and Bluegrass Recording of the Year.

Brendan’s songs have clearly struck a chord with radio presenters and listeners alike, with each of the four singles released from the album achieving top ten chart success. The win is his second in as many years, having won his first Golden Guitar in 2025 for Instrumental of the Year.

A number of previously released songs, including Snow, the title track from his critically acclaimed first album, have become staples on country music playlists.

A gifted vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, Brendan has performed and recorded in his own right for many years, as well as touring with many leading Australian and international artists and producing many projects for Australian artists.

He is best known in the industry as one of its leading musicians, in huge demand for session and live work. He won Musician of the Year in 2022 and is musical director for the annual Golden Guitar Awards, among many other projects.

Brendan is also an incredibly talented songwriter and performer in his own right, both as an instrumentalist and as a vocalist, with an appealing, resonant voice and a special kind of quiet charisma.
