Brendon Browning Memorial Game Luncheon
Event description
Enjoy a day of AFL action, including a ticketed lunch at the annual Brendon Browning Memorial Day on Saturday 29th June. Hosted by Brighton Football Club, Brendon Browning Memorial Day honours the life of much-loved Brighton Football Club player Brendon Browning ('Horse'), who lost his life to melanoma at just 48 years of age. The Memorial Day is about increasing awareness of the disease, which claims one Australian every six hours, and funds raised support Melanoma Institute Australia’s groundbreaking research. Â
A popular part of the day is the Brendon Browning Memorial Lunch, a ticketed event commencing at 12.30pm sharp in The Robins Nest Function Centre. There will be a guest speaker - former cricketer and local sporting identity Brett Geeves, a raffle, auction and merchandise sales of beanies, stubby holders and Tshirts with the famous number 12 on them.
Tickets $50 which includes $10 gate entry (to be shown at gate).
