Event description

Padre Coffee Brewing Workshop: Stovetop

The stovetop method of brewing coffee, also commonly referred to as moka pot, is popular with many of our customers and for good reason. Invented in 1933, its ability to produce a full-bodied cup of coffee quickly, with minimal fuss and equipment has made it a staple in many households.  Whether you already brew coffee with this method and are looking for some tips, are looking at a potential new way to brew coffee at home or are just keen to learn more about coffee and sample a different type of brew method, we invite you to join us in this workshop. One of our expert baristas will break this method down for you, demonstrate how to brew it and let you taste the results.

Although this is a free event, numbers will be capped at 10 to ensure there is enough coffee to go around. Be sure to secure your spot as we will be unable to allow walk-ins on the day.

Session goals:

  • Learn the principles of this brew method through an explanation and demonstration
  • Time with one of our knowledgable baristas to answer your brewing questions
  • Sample some delicious stovetop coffee!
