Bribie Free Walk and Talk Tour
Description
Led by our wonderful local volunteer tour guides, these free walks are designed for all fitness levels. Whether you are a long-time local, new to the area, or just visiting, it’s a fantastic way to enjoy some fresh air, learn a little bit about Bribie's rich history, and meet great people.
We move at a gentle, conversational pace, and there is always plenty of time to chat along the way.
📍 Meeting Point & Parking:
Where to meet: Right outside the Bribie Visitor Information Centre (located on Benabrow Avenue Bellara, Bribie Island
Look out for: Your guide will be standing near the centre entrance wearing a blue & white Tourism & Events Moreton Bay volunteer shirt and a name lanyard, so they are very easy to spot!
Parking: Free parking is available in the surrounding streets
👟 What to Bring:
Comfortable walking shoes
A hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen
A water bottle
An umbrella or light rain jacket (just in case the coastal weather shifts!)
⏱️ Duration & Accessibility:
Time: The walk lasts approximately 40 minutes at a very leisurely pace.
Accessibility: This route is fully paved, flat, and entirely wheelchair, mobility scooter, and pram friendly.
🎟️ Booking & No-Show Policy:
Our tours are entirely free, but places are strictly limited to 15 people per session so the groups stay conversational, safe, and personal.
If your plans change: Because spaces are limited and we often have a waiting list, if you can no longer make it, please cancel your ticket via your Humanitix confirmation email as soon as possible so we can release the spot to someone else in the community.
