Join us at the Bribie Island RSL Club for the Bribie Island Seniors Expo and connect face-to-face with government representatives and local organisations. Discover the services and support available to help older Queenslanders stay informed, safe and connected in their community.
The Seniors Expo brings together experts from the Queensland Government, Queensland Police Service, and legal and financial services to provide advice on:
• Seniors Card and benefits
• concessions and rebates
• staying safe at home and in the community
• home security
• accessing local support services
• scam awareness and prevention
• health and wellbeing
Registrations open at 9:00am for a 9:30am start.
Enjoy presentations from great speakers, connect with other attendees over a free morning tea, and visit a range of government and community service stalls for practical information to support you as you get older.
Note:
The Department of Families, Seniors, Disability Services and Child Safety may be photographing, filming and otherwise recording at the Expo, and your image may be captured when you attend the Expo.
These images and recordings may be used, published or reproduced in any form (in whole or in part) by the department, by any medium, including but not limited to brochures, website or social media channels to promote, publicise and report on the Expo or other Seniors Expos. Your personal information will be handled in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld).
Your consent to collect, use and record your image is implied by your attendance at the Expo. Should you not wish to be recorded, please notify our photographer or videographer or a Queensland Government staff member.

- Is this a seated event?
Yes - This expo is a seated event and registration is required.
- Do I need to print my ticket?
No - You do not need to print your ticket for this event. Your name will be on the registration at the door.
- What do I do if I cannot no longer attend this expo?
Kindly email seniorsengagement@families.qld.gov.au to advise.
- Can I register to be a stallholder?
Please contact the Seniors Engagement team if you would like more information on becoming a stallholder at seniorsengagement@families.qld.gov.au.
