Bibs at the ready!

From the banks of the Mississippi to the foreshore of Pumicestone passage, Alastair McLeod is hosting the first-ever Bribie Seafood Boil.

Be ready to get your hands dirty and your belly filled, at this unique dining experience on Father’s Day, for lunch or dinner.

Located at Brennan Park, Bribie Island, ideally situated beside the sandy banks of Pumicestone Passage, will be a long table celebrating communal dining and the region’s freshest seafood.

Alastair promises a cracking, sucking, and slurping good time. Forget the cutlery, you’ll be getting hands-on with crab pickers and shell crackers as guests dig into a big ol’ boil up of fresh tiger prawns, sand crab, Moreton Bay bugs, and mussels, with sweetcorn, smoked sausage, and potatoes.

Start off with a shellfish broth, followed by the main event presented directly from the pot to the table, served with bottomless fries, assorted sauces, lemons, and picked local vegetables.

This event is BYO; however, please note that no glass is permitted.
